Pulse101 - Pulse/Counter Recorder

Description:
The Pulse101 is a miniature battery powered, stand-alone pulse recorder/totalizer.  This effective, low-cost recording device accepts a pulse input from external sources such as transducers or pulse initiators (gas, water, and electric meters) and transforms those inputs into engineering units. The Pulse101 utilizes a low power design, enabling operation for months at a time on a 3.6-volt lithium battery.

In addition, the Pulse101 allows the user to store engineering units into the device.  This enables the user to easily linearize and scale any transducer that provides a pulse output to any user required units automatically.  The Pulse101 may act as a totalizer, continuously counting pulses  or counting pulses over specifically defined intervals.

Once activated the Pulse101 senses and records the number of pulses that occur within adjacent "time bin" periods.  The bin period is selectable from 1 second to over 24 hours.   At the end of each bin period, the total number of pulses is recorded. The Pulse101 then starts another bin period and continues until either the memory is full or the test period has ended.

For setup and data recovery the Pulse101 is used in conjunction with a host PC running our user friendly, Windows based  software. The software, will provide the user with graphical output indicating pulse rates as well as total pulse counts versus time.
